REDWIRE, filled in

The Recovery Log — 042
Wednesday 29 July 2026

When we named REDWIRE we said there was a lot of it still to recover, and this week the rest of it came in.

Two more collections have gone live and they change the shape of the field. Two Million Teardrops is the heart of it — the funk timeline at full weight, the groove doing the civic work we described, load-bearing rhythm you could set a city's clocks by. And Soul Revue: Live at The Travelator is something we were quietly hoping for and did not dare expect: a live recovery, a room caught mid-motion, the crowd that cannot stand still audible around the music. A venue recovery and a channel recovery had already taught us DEEPWELL could be reached two ways; a live capture from REDWIRE tells us the second timeline has its own textures we are only starting to map.

So REDWIRE is no longer a promising sketch beside DEEPWELL. It is a place with a floor and a pulse and a night that does not end. Two timelines, filling in. We keep waiting to stop being surprised that this works. We keep not stopping.

REDWIRE, out now: Two Million Teardrops · Soul Revue: Live at The Travelator · alongside The Countdown and Undilated.
